2010-2011 Preschool Openings
Hola Amigos is a traditional preschool taught in the spanish language, preparing the child for school through physical, social and cognitive activities. Children will do all the things that are typical to a preschool setting. There will be playtime, story time, time for art and dance and music. The added feature is that the child will also learn the Spanish language and culture. Slowly through out the year the child will learn the Spanish words for the activities they are participating in. They will learn to understand and speak Spanish. Spaces are still available in the 3 year old classes which meet on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00-11:15 a.m., and also in the four year old classroom that meets on Monday and Wednesday, from 12:30-3:15p.m. Enrollment is online at www.rpssignmeup.com.
Our Purpose
The goal of the Hola Amigos Learning Center Preschool Program is to give young children opportunities for learning the Spanish language naturally through play, exploration and social interaction while preparing the students for kindergarten. We believe this is best accomplished when the child is immersed or surrounded by the Spanish language during a typical preschool class session. Our program is designed for children who do not yet understand or speak the Spanish language, as well as for those children who already use Spanish at home or in other settings. We strive to promote healthy child development through social, physical, emotional and cognitive growth experiences in a happy, secure and stimulating environment. We also hope to provide opportunities for children and parents to connect with other families who also have the desire to learn a second language, creating a close-knit network of support among those who are involved with our program. We encourage the development of relationships among our parents and students, believing that this is an integral part of the program. The enthusiastic involvement of our staff and parents in the creation of interpersonal bonds is a component that stems from the Hispanic culture and makes this program unique.

The mission of the Spanish Immersion Preschool Program at Hola Amigos Learning Center, LLC is to provide children with the joyful experience of learning another language and culture. Our goal is to promote a love of language and diverse cultures. Our vision is to provide a successful language immersion preschool system centered on the well-being of our children and their families.
We strive to empower our students to become successful, enthusiastic, and socially competent learners through innovative, effective, enjoyable and playful learning experiences in a welcome and nurturing environment. We believe this is best achieved through the creation of bonds among children, their families, the school, and the community. We are a child-centered, play-focused program. At Hola Amigos, we endeavor to provide a warm environment that encourages the development of socialization skills, independence, and a positive self-image.
