Our tradesmen are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment, facilities, and property in the school district. We strive for the highest standards to improve and maintain safety for all.
Our custodial staff members are responsible for cleaning approximately 1.2 million square feet (soon to be more!) of building space. Our goal is to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all by using the "greenest" products whenever possible.
Rockford Public Schools uses a computerized energy management system to operate buildings more efficiently. To further reduce energy and water usage, we are installing a computerized central controller for district-wide irrigation systems.
